Fabulous Specials Friday Nov 25-Monday Nov 28

From 10am Friday through 2pm Monday Nov 28th we will be offering our annual special on gift cards- usable for new sessions only.  $100 for $50 or $200 for $100.  ($200 limit per household).  Call with a credit card # and we will mail your gift cards! :)

Also on special are our Photography 101 and Photoshop 101 Classes.  Regularly $125 each- you may register for both for $125 or the Photography 101 for $55.  Photoshop 101 may be purchased ala carte for just $75!  Photoshop 101 includes small class sizes (up to 6 people) and includes a cd with special actions that I regularly use.  You will leave the class with a better understanding of the tools in photoshop, layers, and actions.  You will have completed 3 projects including facial retouching, object removal, and converting from a color image to black/white as well as custom hand selected color…  Photoshop 101 is a comprehensive 3 hour class and is suitable for owners of Adobe Photoshop or Adobe Photoshop elements (Elements 10 is on sale this weekend at both Costco and Staples for 50% off!!)

Our Photography 101 class is a 2 hour class which teaches basic camera skills, understanding lighting and creative ways to get the kiddos to cooperate with you! :)   Our students regularly comment how much they have learned and how easy it is to apply what they learn!  We recommend either an SLR type camera or a point/shoot that you can put onto Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority.  Other point shoots will work as well with the application varying a little bit.  Great introduction to Photography class!  More dates will be added regularly.

January’s Winter Wonderland Limited Edition Set will be available for just $25 session fee regularly but if you book this weekend the entire $25 will go towards your print order making your session free!!  Winter Wonderland is recommended for kids from the age of 6months-12 years ($25 per child)

Photography 101 and Photoshop 101

Photography 101

Our Photography 101 classes are geared towards those who have cameras that they just aren’t quite sure what to do with!  Many of our students have nice Point and Shoots (we recommend the ability to be able to put your camera on Aperture Priority or Shutter Priority).  Others have DSLRs (you can take the lens off of your camera).  We welcome students of all age ranges.  This is a great class to take if you are interested in getting better quality images and just want to understand your camera better.  Many of my students leave telling me that they have taken other photography classes before and left feeling confused or stressed because they still didn’t feel like they ‘grasped’ the concepts.  This Photography class is recommended for Beginners and Amateurs.  We offer a 2 hour class as well as two- 1hour classes. You will learn a lot! You will learn to be more comfortable with your camera and learn how to use your camera in different settings. This class is $125.  Discounts available for groups.  Current dates/ times available below

  • November 22 and 29 at 3pm.  -held at the RAILSIDE GOLF CLUB
  • November 22 and 29 at 7pm- almost filled. -held at the RAILSIDE GOLF CLUB
  • December 2nd 11am-1:30pm combined two hour class. -held at the Ramada Plaza (28th/Beltline)
  • December 2nd 6:30pm-9pm combined two hour class. -held at the Ramada Plaza (28th/Beltline)

Photoshop 101

Our Photoshop for beginners class is great even for those who have never installed Photoshop on their computer.  We do recommend a laptop for this class so you can follow along.  Either Photoshop Elements or the Full version of Photoshop will work for this class.  I do suggest you have at least Photoshop CS2 or a newer version (8-10) of Elements.  We teach real world applications so you can make the best of YOUR images.  The class size is limited to 6 participants and is 3 hours long.  $120 per student.  You will also have access to the instructor after the class via facebook for questions!  Classes are normally $125 however if you book (and pay) by November 25th you will be able to register for just $99

Currently we have classes scheduled for Thursday December 8th at 1pm-4pm as well as Saturday January 14th from 10:30am-1:30pm.
